Adventure of the American Mind

This project explores Pulitzer Prize winning selections of African American poetry, drama, and fiction, beginning with Gwendolyn Brooks' Annie Allen in 1950 and concluding in 1986 with Toni Morrison's novel Beloved.

This is a work in progress there is much to add including biograpies of the authors, summaries of their works, as well as critical reviews. Please return to my website in the near future for updates. In the interim, please click on the PowerPoint listed below for an overview of this project.

Peace
