Lesson Two: Print out the chart for comparing old state currency with present day currency by clicking here. Follow the directions on the worksheet. You can find the different currency by clicking here. When you have completed, find a partner and discuss your findings. Before leaving the classroom, we will discuss all findings as a class. Lesson Three: Taking into account all that you have learned about the history of money in the United States the past few days, you are now going to create your own monetary standard. Imagine that our current form of currency is eliminated through a series of cataclismic events. It is you job now to develop a new monetary standard so that our economy can still function and grow.
