Welcome to my homepage! Here you will find helpful information about our classroom. If you should happen to misplace this week's spelling list or homework sheet, those are both available to you here. I will also be posting pictures and projects that we work on throughout the year. Be sure to check back often as I will be updating weekly!

I can't believe that the year has come to an end! As I look back at the school year, I am amazed at how far each of my wonderful students have come. Thanks for a great school year! --Ms. Shileny

Our class has been so blessed by the DonorsChoose.org website, and some very special donors - the HWA Family Foundation. After funding our "Reader's Retreat" proposal on DonorsChoose.org, the HWA Family Foundation decided to do even more for us! On Thursday, April 24th, they accompanied us on a field trip of a lifetime - and paid for the whole thing! We went to Barnes & Noble, received a fabulous behind the scenes tour of the store, learned how to work at the cafe, enjoyed storytime in the children's department, AND got to buy books to keep! Each student was able to purchase about 4 books of their chosing. It was fantastic! And as if that weren't enough, we were also treated to lunch at Old Country Buffet! Straight from the mouths of a couple of our students, "it was the best day of our lives!"
