Adventure of the American Mind

This is Mr. Byar's homepage for the Adventure of the American Mind project. Students will learn, through the use of primary and secondary sources, why and how Illinois cities were built and located because of canals and railroads. The Library of Congress website will be the prime tool for the students to use for their activities.
