Voting in America has evolved since the beginning of the early colonies. This Unit will take you on a journey to show the struggles endured by past citizens who were denied what is now a Constitutional right. Students will utilize the Library of Congress as well as other sources to study and research the methods and tactics utilized to be granted the right to vote. Upon completion of this unit students should become more civic minded and motivated to participate in the voting process.
