Primary Sources Activity 5:

How Can We Use Primary Sources in OUR Classrooms?

1. Brainstorm with your group a list of ways primary sources will make a lesson come to life. Use the program Inspiration as you brainstorm. Remember to use the rapidfire icon.

2. Which primary sources could you could include for math, science, social studies, reading, writing, and other areas. Think about particular units you actually teach. What primary sources could you include to make the content more understandable, more meaningful, and more memorable. ex. Pictures of women who were important in history, advertisements for persuasive writing, etc.
