Significant People in Illinois History

This unit uses primary resources as a learning tool to teach Third Graders about significant individuals in Illinois history. The class will work in cooperative groups to research "Significant Individuals in Illinois History". They will focus on Illinois Standards in Reading, Writing, and Social Studies. Each student will research another significant Illinoisan and present his/her research to the class.
