Teaching with Primary Sources (TPS) is the program that grew out of a pilot calledAdventure of the American Mind. It joins with colleges and other educational organizations to deliver professional development programs that help teachers use the Library of Congress's rich reservoir of digitized primary source materials to design challenging, high-quality instruction. TPS is a project funded through the Library of Congress, which was awarded in Illinois through the efforts and support of US Senator Richard J. "Dick" Durbin (D-IL).
